2012 Meetings and events

CVMC meetings are held on the third Tuesday of each month. The location of meetings is established by CVMC volunteers and changes to a different restaurant each month.

Members gather at 6:30 p.m. to enjoy a meal and social time, which is followed by a discussion of club business and the opportunity to share news about our cars or other information of interest to club members.

Rallies are held throughout the year and provide opportunities to enjoy a group Miata drive through the beautiful Virginia countryside. Although the schedule varies, rallies are generally held on the third Saturday of each month, weather permitting.

Moss Motors will be providing light refreshments for all members and a photo opportunity will be held in front of the main entrance prior to the group heading on to Petersburg for a late lunch at The Brickhouse Run Pub. After lunch, we can explore antique stores and novelty shops in the area.

Moss Motors is opening up especially for us on Saturday and they are offering a 10% discount. They have a couple of requests: They would like to know what items people might be interested in. This will allow them to take the parts out of inventory and put them on display. There would be no obligation to purchase these parts.

Actual part numbers would be helpful. Here is the link to the Moss Miata web site. http://ecommerce.mossmotors.com/miata-mx-5. You may send Jim the list and he will submit it to them. They also request a head count for the lunches by September 15 - So let us know if you will be able to attend.

We have also invited the Fredricksburg Miata Maniacs to join us. Of course the more the merrier and just remember... Christmas is coming.

Here's a little bit of info about Moss Motors.
Moss is primarily known for its activity in the British restoration market and is the world's oldest and largest supplier of these parts. We are also very active in parts and accessories for current enthusiast vehicles such as the Miata. The Miata, very British in concept, attracted an involved and enthusiastic customer base and Moss replied with a range of enthusiast products. Moss also sells products for Mustangs, Jaguars, Austin-Healey, MG Midget, BMW, Classic Mini and Triumph among others.
